Mali's Cups Coffee
Mali's Cups QR Menu — Digital Menu Platform with Nutrition Facts

Problem
Türkiye's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry menu regulation makes disclosing energy (calories), core ingredients and allergens on menus mandatory on a phased timeline. Businesses with 3 or more branches in the same province must comply by 31 December 2026 — Mali's Cups' 7 branches fall within this scope.
Doing this with printed menus would mean redesign and reprint costs across all branches at every recipe, price or ingredient change. Most off-the-shelf QR menu products are little more than price lists — no nutrition, allergen or dietary tag fields.
Solution
A branch-based digital QR menu platform was built (live example: Deniz branch). Calorie info is visible at a glance on product cards; the product detail opens a full Nutrition Facts panel — kcal, protein, carbs and fat in grams.
Allergen tags (milk, soy etc.) and dietary badges (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free) are set per item, so customers with food sensitivities get full information before ordering. 17 categories, in-menu search and size-based pricing in a mobile-first design. Content is updated from a single panel — changes reach every branch menu instantly, with zero reprint cost.
The regulation gradually covers not only large chains but all cafés and restaurants, with transition deadlines starting to expire on 31 December 2026.
